The Six Recognised Branches: Understanding the Roots of Our Family Tree

The House of Yakubu is traditionally structured around the surviving branches founded by the noble sons of Malam Yakubu I: Ibrahim, Abdullahi, Muhammadu-Ghani, Mahmudu, Salmanu, and Mustapha-Babba.

As our digital family tree expands bottom-up, every living descendant is invited to identify their paternal branch, search for their nearest ancestor in our authenticated records, and submit verified documentation for inclusion.

In doing so, we preserve an unbroken chain of ancestry for future generations, ensuring that no lineage is forgotten.
